In 1995 I came back to Italy and I co-founded Sinapsi, a system integrator aimed at the realization of complex web applications with J2EE and OSS technologies. Afterwards, I became member of FSF Europe and I actively contributed to the historic defeat in the European Parliament, of the directive concerning the patenting of software. I’m a member of the Editorial Committee of Equiliber from its foundation. From 2005 I have been an active member of Digital Media in Italy, for which I created the open system of micro payments called iPay.
