I collaborated with Intellicorp, at the time one of the major companies in Silicon Valley. In 1994 I moved to Los Angeles and I studied at UCLA the technologies used for digital signal processing. In 1995 I came back to Italy and I co-founded Sinapsi, a system integrator aimed at the realization of complex web applications with J2EE and OSS technologies. Afterwards, I became member of FSF Europe and I actively contributed to the historic defeat in the European Parliament, of the directive concerning the patenting of software. I’m a member of the Editorial Committee of Equiliber from its foundation. From 2005 I have been an active member of Digital Media in Italy, for which I created the open system of micro payments called iPay. In 2008 I co-founded SmartRM Inc., company of American law for the application of the standard ISO/MPEG of the managements of authors rights to the market B2B and privacy protection.
